Putting the fonts into Office & Word

I have an iMAC and when I download these fonts, they do not go to my Word so I cannot use them. I would like to know if there is a way to transfer them to Office for MAC so I can use them. I also have Parallels and Publisher on this computer and would like to know how to use them on the other side of my computer for Publisher if possible. When I download them, they are going to something called User and some short list that doesn't seem to translate to my docs.
