Hey,
I want to add letters to an existing font (Futura Std) to be able to get language support without having to switch fonts in indesign. I have a system who is feeding many different languages from a database via XML into indesign and there I would like to use only different kinds of Futura Std.

I want the letters from Ms Yahei for Chinese,  Ms Gothic for Japanese and Arial for Russian.I beleve this is possible to merge info the same font just as the original Arial has support for russian letters right out of the box.

I have begun to try the "Font merge" -program but it is a bit tricky...

Anyone who knows how to anf IF this is possible?

I have no idea about merging, but I think you can copy/paste the Glyphs in FontLap FontStudio.

If you have experience in Python, I would suggest use Font-Forge to export and import glyphs.
