So, you have read in your WWWLOG files that a Fonts101 Bot was on your website. Basically this crawler is used to search various search engines and find new links for fonts or fonts related websites. Once the website is found it is passed on to the second crawler to search for TTF / ZIP files on the website using advanced algorithms developed by help of many people and newsgroups, blogs, etc.

So, all fonts which are found are stored in a folder, and reviewed by myself or some friends for duplicates or copyrighted fonts or anything misleading. And then added to our database. Our robot does not visits the website more than twice a month. So if you are getting hits from our robot more than that please let us know with your website URL so we can figure out the issues.

The Fonts 101 Bot has been successfully running since February 2004, without any major errors, and hopefully will run till this website lives.
