Thanks!

Very happy with FontMatrix,
it is opensource but probably just on Linux though,
but be sure to check it out - very fast and versitile
It beats FontExplorer X with lots of extra features

I've Tried TypeDNA and it has a lot of issues handling fonts that aren't located in the MAIN Windows Fonts Folder. And all of my fonts are located elsewhere.

I've also tried Suitcase Fusion 4 and it has a lot of great functions that i like and a nice interface, but it seems to run really slow and is often non-responsive.

I'm looking for a stable font manager with Auto-activation, Adobe CS plug-ins, finds similar fonts and the ability to create custom lists of fonts.

I'm probably asking for a lot, but hey...a guy can dream.

Tony and trobin, you should test it, XP is more stable than Vista or W7 and all the systems have their own performance... I installed it yesterday and it froze three times trying to import just a big folder (with more than 9000 fonts)...but is seen to have very interesting features, anyway, I still prefer my old Font Expert version, for my needs.

typeDNA for me. I have been using it for 3 months now..but one bug on this plugin is he traced duplicate fonts...but very nice on functionality especially on "similar" function..very easy to get with.

I already used many font managers, but this one is perfect.
He loads fonts temporaly, you don't need to install all the fonts you have, just load the pack you need at the moment :D
